About the project#

We’re building HC for evenings spent meeting people, running a business or getting into trouble without first grinding a farming route or garbage collection job to afford it. Starting funds and basic support give you room to roleplay while you find your place.

We want deeper systems that leave room for trust, negotiation and conflict. A mechanic can fit worn parts and charge you for good ones. A shop owner can hire couriers and staff, paying them from the business’s takings.

HC doesn’t use QBCore, Mythic or a Lua roleplay framework. We build our gameplay systems from scratch in TypeScript, on a framework we’ve heavily modified for this project. We’re putting a lot of love into HC, and this site shows what we’ve built so far.
